Care:

  • Clean Silicone Baby Food Containers in warm, soapy water or run through the top rack of the dishwasher with a mild detergent after use.
  • To mitigate bacterial buildup risks, sterilize your silicone containers in boiling water for 5-10 minutes before each use. 
  • Do not leave containers soaking in soapy water.

Note

Silicone baby food containers can sometimes absorb the smell of pungent foods or pick up odors from the freezer. How to clean:

  • Boil your containers: Put the containers in boiling water for 5 minutes to remove the residue.
  • Scrub them: Mix one cup of white vinegar with two cups of hot water and soak your containers in it for half an hour. Then, gently scrub it with a soft cleaning sponge.
  • Wash: Rinse the containers off under hot water and let your containers air dry.  Maximum: 392°F (200°C)

To avoid stains from tomato sauce, pesto, turmeric, and more, choose silicone baby food containers that match the color of your food. How to clean:

  • Give your containers a soak: Soak your affected containers in hydrogen peroxide for 24 hours.
  • Scrub them with a paste: Make a paste with baking soda and water and apply it all around the containers.
  • Wash: Rinse the containers off under hot water and let your containers air dry.
