Is a splash mat actually worth it?
A splash mat makes cleaning up after meals much quicker by catching dropped food, crumbs and spills before they reach your floor. It is especially useful during weaning and under highchairs placed over carpet, wooden flooring or rugs.
After the meal, simply shake off the crumbs and wipe the mat clean rather than cleaning the surrounding floor.

Can you wash a splash mat?
Yes. For everyday mess, shake off any crumbs and wipe the mat with a damp cloth or sponge. You can also rinse away more stubborn food residue.
For a deeper clean, the mat can be machine-washed at no more than 30 degrees. Avoid bleach, abrasive cleaners and harsh chemicals, as these may affect the waterproof coating or print. Allow the mat to air-dry naturally.
Are messy mats stain-resistant?
Our messy mats are designed to be wipe-clean, but no fabric is completely stain-resistant. Clean colourful foods and spills promptly to help prevent staining.
If a mark remains after cleaning, allowing the mat to dry in natural sunlight may help it fade. Do not use bleach.
