Step-by-step: applying the wrap

Clean the legs first. Wipe them down to remove any dirt, oils or dust. This makes a real difference to how well the adhesive grips.
Remove the legs from the seat, if you haven't already.
Peel back about 4-5 inches of backing and start applying from the bottom of the leg, lining the wrap up with the white section.
Smooth as you go, peeling a little more backing away at a time rather than all at once, keeping the wrap centred and working out any air bubbles as you press it down.
Keep going slowly, moving your hand up and down the leg as you wrap, rather than trying to do it in one continuous pull. This is what gives the seamless, even finish.

Getting it right at the bottom

Start your wrap from the bottom of the leg and work up, rather than the other way round. This avoids leaving excess vinyl covering the white plastic leg bottoms, which is the most common thing that makes a wrap look untidy once it's finished.
