Does the cushion fit my Stokke Tripp Trapp?

Yes. Our cushion is designed to fit Tripp Trapp highchairs used with both the older Stokke Baby Set V1 and the newer Baby Set V2.

Although the two Baby Set models and their harnesses are slightly different, our cushion has been designed to work with both versions. This means you can create a soft, comfortable setup while continuing to use the correct harness for your Baby Set.

Always make sure the cushion is fitted correctly and that the harness remains accessible and securely fastened before placing your child in the highchair.

How to fit your Stokke Tripp Trapp cushion

Fitting the cushion is simple and should only take a few minutes.

1. Place the bottom cushion section flat on the wooden seat. Make sure it follows the shape of the chair and sits evenly without bunching. Make sure the opening in the cushion is aligned correctly with the slot in the Tripp Trapp seat.

2. Once the bottom cushion is in place, fit the Stokke Baby Set according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure each part clicks securely into position.

3. Place the back section against the chair’s backrest. Stretch the back flap over the top of the backrest and smooth the cushion into position.

4. If you use a Stokke tray, attach it once the cushion and Baby Set are securely fitted.

5. Before placing your child in the highchair, check that:

The cushion sits flat and securely
The Baby Set is correctly attached
The harness is accessible and securely fastened
No fabric is twisted or covering the safety fittings

Complete the setup with a silicone placemat

Once your cushion is fitted, you can add a coordinating silicone placemat to protect the highchair tray from everyday weaning mess.

How to clean your Stokke cushion

Weaning can be messy, so our cushions are made from practical wipe-clean fabric.

For everyday marks and spills:

Wipe the surface with a soft, damp cloth or wet wipes
Please avoid using chemicals to protect print and colour.
Allow the cushion to dry before using it again.

Most food and spills can be cleaned away without removing and washing the cushion after every meal.
