Baby Weaning Exploration Chart
Help your baby discover the joy of eating with our Baby Weaning Exploration Chart! It is designed to track your baby's progress as they try new foods, providing a fun and engaging way to support their weaning journey from the early stages.
Features & Safety Information
Our Baby Weaning Exploration Chart is based on NHS guidelines to help your baby safely explore a variety of foods. Foods that are known allergens are clearly marked, so you can introduce them with care, leaving a 3-day gap between each one to monitor for any allergic reactions. Remember, foods should not be introduced before six months, and we recommend following the NHS’s guidance on safe weaning practices.
We've provided some trusted NHS resources to guide you further on your weaning journey:
How to Make the Most of Your Weaning Chart
Display it where you feed – Hang the chart in your kitchen or dining area to keep track of your baby's food exploration easily.
Create a relaxed mealtime environment – A calm and distraction-free setting helps your baby feel comfortable exploring new tastes and textures.
Introduce foods at your own pace – Use the chart as a guide but follow your baby’s cues. Let them explore the food by touching, tasting, and playing at their own pace.
Tick off foods as you go – Track your baby’s progress by ticking off each food as you introduce it. Whether they taste, touch, or interact with the food, it’s all progress! Keep celebrating each milestone.
Monitor allergenic foods – Leave 3 days between introducing allergenic foods to watch for any potential reactions. For other foods, follow your and your baby’s comfort level.
Our chart helps you track each new food your baby tries, encouraging positive progress and making weaning an exciting, memorable experience for you both.
